MapR enables you to simply mount the cluster as an NFS volume. That means Hadoop finally has a read-write filesystem making it easier, and faster to get big data in and results out. That’s why we call it Direct Access NFS™.  It also enables incremental data loads making it possible to run jobs on streaming data.
