MapR Appoints Brad Mandell to Worldwide Vice President of Field Operations
San Jose, CA – October 6, 2011 – MapR Technologies, Inc. announced today that Brad Mandell has joined the company as Worldwide Vice President of Field Operations. Brad will be responsible for the overall strategy and execution related to sales, support, and customer success.

Brad joins MapR with over 20 years of management experience and success in leading sales and service teams in the technology industry. Most recently, Brad was Global Director for Security at Cisco Systems, Inc. where he focused on business transformation, new company acquisitions, and the assimilation of SaaS, cloud and on-premise security solutions. Brad was also Vice President of Enterprise Field Operations at Juniper Networks joining Juniper through the acquisition of Peribit Networks. In addition to Peribit, Brad has held senior management positions at Consentry, Jetstream, 3COM and IBM.
Brad has a BSC in Finance and Management from Santa Clara University, as well as Executive Leadership certifications from Harvard and Wharton.
