MapR Named to InformationWeek’s “12 Hadoop Vendors to Watch” List

The companies were selected by Executive Editor, Enterprise Software for InformationWeek, Doug Henschen. In his article, Henschen noted several aspects of MapR’s distribution including its focus to push the performance envelope, claiming to offer faster performance than conventional Hadoop distributions while requiring half the hardware.
