MapR Chief Application Architect to Present at Berlin Buzzwords 2011 Conference

Addresses Developments and Products within the Growing Apache Hadoop Ecosystem

San Jose, CA – June 6, 2011 – MapR Technologies Inc., announced today that its Chief Application Architect, Ted Dunning, will be a keynote speaker at the Berlin Buzzwords 2011 Conference in Berlin, Germany.

"The Berlin Buzzwords Conference is becoming one of the leading open source conferences, especially in Europe,” said Dunning. “I am very excited to have been invited to be one of the keynote speakers at this year’s event.”

Dr. Dunning’s keynote session will detail the technical and product developments within the Apache Hadoop ecosystem and the rapid changes taking place in the broader community. The session will also provide a look to the future of Hadoop and how the different ecosystem members can work together successfully.

Berlin Buzzwords is a conference for developers and users of open source software projects, focusing on the issues of scalable search, data-analysis in the cloud and NoSQL-databases. Berlin Buzzwords presents more than 30 talks and presentations of international speakers.
